Bought this to replace an old top load unit that was over 15 years old. Very happy with the purchase these LG washer and dryer combos work great and use a lot less water/energy than our old units. The WiFi connectivity that alerts you when the laundry is done is fantastic also

Satisfied with the overall product but clothes come out consistently under dry so I have to raise the dryness level every load but the steps to raise the level are not intuitive though. My other complaint is the display. Its dark and the low contrast between lettering and the background makes it very difficult to read.

Your App keeps telling me to register my product as well as your getting your app to discover my WiFi which is VERY strong. I suggest you hire a real IT company to write your App.. Washer door cannot be reversed that really sucks since my dryer is on the left.

I bought this dryer in May of 2020 soon after the COVID-19 lockdowns began so I did all of my shopping online. I would certainly purchase this dryer again. It has a lot of great features I havent even used all of them yet. It will get a full load of clothes dry in about 50 minutes which is wonderful The only thing I dont like is that the drum light doesnt stay on long enough. I wish I could override this somehow but its definitely not a deal breaker.

I purchased my dryer 1 year ago and it has met all my expectations. The default settings were too hot too long but I finally figured out how to change them. My dryer is stacked on top of my washer so if you are short I would not recommend stacking them.

I love this dryer. Aesthetically it is awesome. It is efficient and quiet dries well. The only con I have about it is that sometimes it turns itself off for no reason. There is no lint blockage and it isnt about balance - so I have not figured out why it does that. I would also like to be able to set the timer manually in different cycles but it wont let you. I havent figured out how to set the timer manually at all hopefully it allows you to somehow.

When this dryer is stacked on it counter part washer the dryer will squeak while washing a load of laundry regardless of the load size. Both washer and dry has been balanced and the dryer has been serviced to address the issue but without success

Dryer has been amazing...however there are a few problems that you should know before making a purchase. Dryer has a problem once started it will turn on...turn off...turn on...turn off about 5 times in a row...then repeat that cycle in another 3-5 min to 15-20 min. LGs fix to this isnt a permanent solution...you need to turn off main break breaker off and wait about a minute and turn back on. Other issue is the water connection on back. The frame is holds the threads in place strip with minimal force causing the water connection to spin not allowing it to tighten. Third issue is LG doesnt have repair/ service person in my area...it is pain to get it looked at if there is an issue.

It starts with cool air flow without the heat and it saves energy cost you would think it would take longer to dry. No it is actually very efficient and dries the load fast. It uses a moisture smart sense to control the heat and timing. It is a beautifully-built dryer. We love it.

Seems to dry with a nice amount of efficiency utilizing air currents with minimal heat settings. Does not seem to handle bulky items well as it will shut off before the item is dry regardless of the Dryness level selection. This is likely because the bulky items do not allow for as much airflow and the dryer senses that the items in the dryer are more dry than they actually are. Also the lint filter seems to allow a good deal of lint to pass by it and into the dryer duct. Thus it is imperative that the owner clean the dryer ducts often... more often than perhaps recommended for safety. Lastly as mentioned on many other complaints the display of this unit is horrible. Very bright-white LEDs that illuminate boxes next to your selection but the actual text of your selection is very hard to read as it is small dull-gray colored text against a black background. When the LED illuminates it blinds the user somewhat and it takes a lot of patience and some memorization of the menu items to proceed with efficiency. The solution is to use larger-fonts and illuminated lettering rather than a led next to non-illuminated lettering. Also the Rotating Selector Dial uses LEDs to illuminate their selection. The borders of the LED selector are not sharp but intentionally blurred a bit and depending on the viewing angle of the user its not always clear which cycle is being chosen. Solution is to make the circular LED band more narrow but taller so it more clearly points to a specific cycle. It seems that the overall design is more focused on aesthetics rather than usability. However how many of us go showing off our laundry rooms or washer/dryers?

I was very excited to get my dryer but had an issue right away with the dryer not working. After repairs it turns on but often the clothes are still damp on normal setting when it turns off. How long in the cycle before the dryer heats up? 30 minutes? Then I usually have to put it on the quick dry 25 minute setting.

Works perfectly dries quickly steam feature is great at getting wrinkles out of clothes. I use steam on every load except whites. I liked the idea of being alerted on my phone when a load was done but it turned out to be more annoying than anything since Im not the only one who uses the dryer. Still nice to have though. I would highly recommend this dryer. If the matching washer is half as nice I might need to upgrade that next.

Weve had these machines for one year and they work very well agile settings. Large capacity allows to do larger bedding articles and larger loads. Recommend if you like to save up laundry items for a big load. Seems to work great with smaller loads too.
