Terrible product. Worse customer service.

Bad product broke down 6 months after purchase. I reported the problem to LG August of 2020. Still there is no resolution. I have called customer service many many times and spoken to over a dozen agents. Each one blames the later for not submitting the proper paper work. Buyer beware.

Weve had ours for 3 years. Have had warranty work done on it and it is majorly malfunctioning. Spewing water and very loud knocking when running on low spin cycle. Love LG but this has been the worst purchase from LG weve ever had.

What Were They Thinking?

I am pretty pleased with the LG Washer though I mainly use the manual setting of Speed Wash. The problem with the manufacturers of recent machines is that they think they have covered every conceivable need for every type of wash cycle. But they dont thats why I am forced to use the Spped Wash cycle-- I can adjust the parameters of the settings: temperature soil level etc. Adding all kinds of settings that are supposed to cover my wash choices is an exercise in futility. Hey engineers: 1. stop telling consums what their wash and dry cycles should be let US decide the choices of temperature soil level time etc. 2. WHO WAS IT that came up with the great idea of not putting a light in the washer?? Really? My previous washer had a light as did the dryer so I can see my laundry. Please ask a real person who does actual laundry what they want in a machine. This customer votes for less fancy cycles more control and oh yes a light in the drum so I can see my clothing.

Rust after only 2.5 months

We purchased this washer based on the great reviews. Weve had mold issues with other machines so we always wiped down the machine after each wash. So we were shocked when after only 2.5 months we found two spots where the paint was bubbling and rust spots had begun to form. One was under the detergent drawer and the other below the front opening. We checked with Lowes but they only cover the first 30 days. We contacted LG and they informed us that we can go on their website and purchase paint to fix the issue ourselves. We havent even had this washer 90 days yet We are so upset with both the rust issue and how Lowes and LG have responded. We will never purchase from either again.
